SwordFight Club – Rules & Terms
SwordFight Club activities involve physical contact and require a responsible attitude from all participants.
Please read the following rules carefully before attending any training session.

1. Participation & Eligibility
-All participants must be 16 years or older, unless attending with prior agreement and parental or guardian consent.
-Youth private lessons are available for ages 12–15, with parental or guardian consent required.
-By attending a session, participants confirm that they are physically fit to train and have disclosed any relevant injuries or medical conditions.
2. Safety & Conduct
-Historical fencing is a contact activity. All training is conducted with safety as a priority.
-Participants must follow the instructor’s directions at all times.
-Unsafe behaviour, lack of control, or disregard for safety rules may result in immediate removal from the session without refund.
-Respectful behaviour towards instructors and fellow students is expected at all times.
3. Equipment
-Club equipment is provided for beginner and member sessions unless stated otherwise.
-Participants may use their own equipment only if approved by the instructor.
-Any damage caused by misuse or negligence may be the responsibility of the participant.
4. Booking & Attendance
-All sessions require advance booking or confirmation.
-Membership and training packs do not guarantee unlimited attendance; class capacity limits apply.
-Members receive priority access when classes are full.
5. Payments
-All payments must be made in advance.
-Accepted payment methods are listed on the website or payment link.
-Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.
6. Training Packs
-Beginner Intro Pack and Beginner Core Pack are:
*Non-refundable
*Non-transferable
*Time-limited
-Packs are valid for 30 or 60 days from first attendance, depending on the product.
-Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period.
7. Membership
-SwordFight Club Membership is billed monthly.
-Membership includes the benefits listed at the time of purchase.
-Membership is personal and non-transferable.
-Members are responsible for cancelling their membership in advance if required.
8. Drop-in Sessions
-Drop-in sessions are intended for occasional attendance.
-Regular attendance via drop-in may be redirected towards membership or training packs.
9. Private Lessons
-Private lessons must be booked in advance.
-Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.
-Discounted private lesson rates apply to active members only.
10. Late (K)Night Sparring
-Participation in sparring sessions is optional and subject to instructor approval.
-The instructor reserves the right to restrict participation based on experience, behaviour, or safety considerations.
11. Liability Disclaimer
-Participants acknowledge that historical fencing carries an inherent risk of injury.
-SwordFight Club, its instructors, and venue partners accept no liability for injuries, loss, or damage incurred during training, except where required by law.
-Participation is at the individual’s own risk.
12. Photography & Media
-Training sessions may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.
-Participants who do not wish to appear in the media must inform the instructor in advance.
13. Right to Refuse Service
-SwordFight Club reserves the right to refuse participation or terminate training access in cases of unsafe behaviour, misconduct, or breach of these rules.
14. Acceptance of Terms
-By booking, attending, or participating in any SwordFight Club activity, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Rules & Terms.
